Lanvin Menswear Launch at Harry Rosen
Last night I had the pleasure of attending the launch of Lanvin’s menswear collection at Harry Rosen’s flagship store on Bloor st. Jeanne Lanvin was born in 1867 and set up her first boutique in Paris back in 1889. Since then the fashion house has expanded to all corners of the globe and has become one of the most prestigious brand in fashion today. As such, when I heard that Lanvin was launching at Harry Rosen I was quite frankly delighted beyond belief. It is great to see institutions like Harry Rosen raising the bar for mens fashion in this city by bring in major labels like Lanvin and using their platform to educate the men in the various fashion trends out there. Speaking of education what was uniquely impressive about this launch was The Evolution of Suiting by Lanvin installation that showcased 12 different styles of men suiting, from classic tuxedo jackets to blazers made of paper. The display was not only beautiful but truly highlighted the precision and skill that goes into mens fashion. Here’s your exclusive sneak peek into this wonderful celebration of mens fashion.
