Scott Schuman, the man behind The Sartorialist will be in Toronto Wednesday July 22 2009 at Holt Renfrew (Bloor Street) on the menswear floor.
“I’ll be in Toronto tomorrow (Wednesday the 22nd) and I’d love to meet some of my readers!
I will be at Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street from 12:30 PM – 2 PM (on the menswear floor) on Wednesday afternoon.
Also tomorrow evening we will be having a very non-organized gathering at the bar in The Drake hotel (1150 Queen Street West), starting around 9:30 or 10pm.”
The Sartorialist is a fashion blog dedicated in documenting the different looks that people on the streets of New York (and other major cities around the world) were sporting. It was after leaving his postition as director of a menswear showroom to take care of his daughter, that he he began carrying around his digital camera and started photographing people he saw on the street whose style he found striking. It quickly became a must-read for fashionistas and designers alike, both on the street and in the luxury goods world. The Sartorialist documents the styles of “real people” and inspires us with what others are wearing.
